Valdy plays the Town Hall!
Canadian folk singer Valdy plays for a sold out crowd on October 20th. A memory inducing event for many people who remembered seeing Valdy back in their college days. A true Canadian story teller! For more photos, click here.

Sunset on Summer 2016
It was a picture perfect day for our third annual Sunset on Summer Chicken BBQ! We had eat-in or take-out chicken with all the fixings, bar and raffle draw. Local musician Josh Geddis and the group "Safe as Milk" played to the well-attended crowd at this family event, along with a new Kiddy Korner for children.

Raising the Roof!
You may have noticed a lot of action at the Town Hall recently as our new metal roof is being installed. Improvements to the Town Hall are a result of community support and the work of many hardworking volunteers to ensure the building remains in the heart of the village for years to come. Ken Yates with Deni Gauthier
An amazing show by Ken Yates with Deni Gauthier opening the show. Known for his lush understated songwriting and singing style, Deni, makes affective use of his looping station, as well as ambient guitar noises that add texture to his often, haunting melodies. Followed by Ken Yates - the recipient os the 2014 Colleen Peterson Award from the Ontario Arts Council for his song "The One That Got Away". Born and raised in London, ON, he moved to Boston to study songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Click here for photos of the fantastic show.

OOAK Show and Vettefest

The Aldeburgh Connection
Saturday night's wonderful concert with Stephen Ralls and Bruce Ubukata who very graciously offered to produce an Aldeburgh Connection Concert, for the Bayfield Town Hall. Community Luncheon 2016
Our Annual Community Luncheon to share what the Board of Directors accomplished after a busy 2015 and the events planned for 2016. We enjoyed delicious homemade lasagne, followed by coffee and dessert. To see more photos from our annual event, have a look at our album.

Cabaret 2016 - Bayfield at the Oscars
It was another sensational cabaret! Two nights of amazing acts performed by community members from classic hits like American Graffiti, Wayne's World, Flashdance, Saturday Night Fever, as well as a shocking finale from the cult favourite - Rocky Horror Picture Show.
